MY PROMISE TO LEARNERS
I cannot promise that every learner will suddenly become a Mathematics genius.
I cannot promise a specific percentage increase.
And I don’t believe responsible tutors should make unrealistic guarantees.
What I can promise is that I will aim to:
Listen to the learner.
Identify the difficulty.
Explain concepts clearly.
Encourage questions.
Correct mistakes.
Provide guided practice.
Build understanding.
Encourage independence.
And help the learner understand that struggling with Mathematics today does not mean they are incapable of learning it tomorrow.
MY PHILOSOPHY
EVERY LEARNER CAN IMPROVE.
Not necessarily at the same speed.
Not necessarily using exactly the same method.
But with the right support, consistent practice and a willingness to learn, learners can make meaningful progress.
Sometimes the difference between:
“I can’t do Maths.”
and
“I can do this.”
is simply finding the right explanation and giving the learner enough opportunity to practise it.
